Nay Lin Aung joined the Ozone Secretariat in 2019, bringing with him nine years of UN experience in the design and management of diverse computer information systems. His professional background includes notable roles at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), where he served as an Information Systems Officer at UNESCAP and as a Web Manager at UNESCO.

Throughout his career, he has accrued extensive expertise in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining various computer information systems. His proficiency extends to the implementation of IT solutions aimed at optimizing business processes, as well as the development of web, mobile apps, and gamification projects. Additionally, Nay Lin Aung has demonstrated leadership in managing the provision of IT infrastructure during conferences.

He holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology with a focus on AI and Machine Learning, a Master of Information Science, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics (Robotics & Automation Engineering).
